Oil Portraits Painted with Love

Welcome to the portfolio of San Francisco portrait artist Gradiva Couzin! I specialize in oil portraits on commission and hand-painted copies of old masters. I have painted many commissioned oil portraits of adults, children, and even pets - from photographs and life sitting.

My most recently completed painting is a portrait of the Lemoffs, a wonderful family of four: click to see the painting. I first met Sony and Brian Lemoff when I painted their 10 year wedding anniversary portrait. This painting celebrates their 15th anniversary and includes their two little boys!

You may have noticed that this painting took a long time to complete. With my own growing family my painting time is limited, but I'm sticking with it and always paint at least one day a week. My next painting will be a pair of landscape/seascapes in the classical realist style.
